Get your chicks on Route 66

Our friends over at Lee’s Feed and Country Store have been visited by a whole flock of cuteness this spring. Check it out:

Could these little guys be any more adorable? If you haven’t been to Lee’s, this is the best time of year to visit. In addition to chicks, they have bunnies, seeds to plant in your garden, and all sorts of fun gifts. They’re just starting to get some garden seedlings — mostly cold-weather varieties — and will be filling their greenhouse with spring flowers and summer vegetable plants in the not-too-distant future.

Why not plan a visit to Tulsa to see the chicks, pick up a few things for the garden, and explore Route 66? Lee’s is located right on Route 66 (11th Street) just west of 193rd East Avenue. Go check out the Blue Whale in Catoosa, stop at Lee’s on your way into Tulsa, grab lunch at one of the great restaurants (we’re partial to the barbecue at Capp’s, which is half a block west of The Campbell), spend an afternoon poking around in the fun little shops over in the Blue Dome district — which is on an older alignment of Route 66 — and end your visit with an unforgettable stay in our beautiful Route 66 Suite, where you’ll enjoy modern amenities amid the echoes of history. Don’t forget to ask about our Route 66 discount and complimentary guided tours of Route 66 in Tulsa (subject to availability).
