The Campbell on a Friday night

The Campbell Hotel was hopping last Friday night!

First, jazz singer Janet Rutland performed for our friends here in the Renaissance Neighborhood as part of their First Friday gathering at The Campbell Lounge, and then local radio station Z104.5 The Edge spent a couple of hours broadcatsing live from our lobby as we collected last-minute entries from people interested in winning tickets to the Ugly Sweater Concert, coming up this Friday at the Brady Theater.

Congratulations to Susan Leroy and Russell Dees, who will get to attend the concert Friday for free! Click here to find out more about the concert, including who’s playing and where to buy tickets.

Special thanks to Beck’s Fresh Mediterranean for feeding everybody during the festivities Friday evening. The food was amazing — kebabs, hummus, tzatziki, tapenade, pitas, stuffed clams, black olives, and the most delicious butter cookies imaginable. Words really can’t begin to do it justice. Just … yum. If you missed out, you’ll definitely want to stop by the restaurant at 6808 S. Memorial and find out what everybody’s talking about.
